Are you keen to meet new people, help out in your local community, and support those learning English as an Additional Language? We are looking for warm and friendly volunteers to spend an hour a week (term-time) chatting one-on-one or with a small group in a relaxed environment, helping them practice conversational English and learn about Australian customs and culture.
You will have:
Excellent English language skills, a warm and welcoming, friendly manner, the ability to work with a variety of people from a range of different backgrounds; and be able to commit to a weekly session of around an hour at your chosen local library branch.
