WHAT IS A LIBRARY OF THINGS?

Alongside our traditional books, magazines. DVD’s, please explore our Library of Things – a variety of objects available for loan at our various branches:

Disc Golf Discs
Frisbee type discs to play Disc Golf. Disc Golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc.

Outdoor Games
Badminton, Bean Bag Toss, Crossnet, Egg & Spoon Race, Finska, Kubb, Limbo, Obstacle Course, Pickleball, Potato Sack Race, Rollers Game, Spike-ball, Throw Throw Burrito, Tumble Tower

Energy Efficiency Tool Kits
Kits to allow users to perform a home energy self-assessment and develop their own home energy action plan Each kit contains various items including Energy saving thermometer, energy meter, Water flow measuring cup, Instructional guide and camera. There are three different kit types: 

• Full kit with non-contact digital thermometer
• Full kit with thermal imaging camera
• Thermal imaging camera only

Induction Stove Sampler Kit
Portable Induction Stove to allow borrowers to trial and experience cooking with induction before committing to migrating from gas.

Board games
Over 100 role playing and/or strategy board games

Envoy Players
Portable MP3 player designed for audiobooks. Accessible design ideal for blind/low-vision users distributed by Vision Australia (formerly Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind)
